Beverly Katz has built up a solid reputation working as a teacher and accompanist at many schools throughout Sydney. She currently teaches from her private studio in Double Bay.
Beverly is very experienced in training students for exams, having spent years preparing piano students of all ages for AMEB, Royal Schools, and Trinity Examinations, with excellent results.
She has received degrees from University of Natal and Witwatersrand (S. Africa), as well as Licentiates in Teaching (London) and Performing (Piano). Beverly studied music / piano with distinguished teachers including Adolph Hallis and Moira Birks, and was privileged to have private masterclasses with world renown artists such as Peter Frankel and Menachem Pressler.
Beverly strongly believes in imparting to her students a rounded musical knowledge, and an appreciation and love of music. Her goal is the sense of fulfilment for pupil and teacher alike.

CLASSICALLY TRAINED
Beverly, a dedicated piano teacher of broad experience, prepares both adults and young people for music examinations / concerts with excellent results. She has a particular interest in technique & musicality, & the power of focus & listening. She also teaches Theory & Musicianship. Beverly has taught & been accompanist at many schools in Sydney, & now works from her private studio in Double Bay (Eastern Suburbs).
